February Love

I had the honor of designing the invitations to my sister and her (now) husband’s wedding. They are a fun, traditional and classy couple who- might I add- had one of the best weddings I have ever been to. The wedding was held on Valentines day but we all knew we wanted to stay away from anything too cliché- red, hearts, pink, anything valentine-like. Staying on the classy side of things, I had fun creating the black and white flourish, patterns and intricate typography for the formal affair. I wanted each separate card to be its own sweet precious valentine. All the bags that held the invitations were sewn by my wonderful mother.
